Reinventing Same-Day Logistics in NYC

All City Delivery has created a value-minded same-day messenger service to improve the customer experience. The founders were office neighbors, one in the textile industry and the other in technology sales and support.

During COVID, the need to staff messengers and have company-owned vehicles was no longer justified for their companies. They instead used different messenger companies. They found them to be unreliable, expensive and hard to work with.

After two years of research and programming, the solution was to create All City Delivery.

Future Plans:

  • For 2026 we plan to focus on NYC. Allowing deliveries between the 5 boroughs.
  • In Early 2027 we plan to enlarge our footprint to include Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Westchester, Orange County, NY, Rockland County NY and Southern Connecticut.
  • In 2028 - 2030 we plan to introduce All City Delivery to additional Cities on the East Coast.

Advanced Plans:

All City is continuously looking for "Out of the Box" solutions to address the need for same-day delivery. This includes:

  • Drones - The current generation of Drones can safely lift 10 LBS for about 1 mile. We have been researching and having conversations with several firms to create a custom designed drone with the ability to move larger payloads in excess of 50 LBS with a 10+ Mile Radius.
    The goal would be to create a hybrid approach in which an ACD messenger would make the pickup and deliver the package to the nearest ACD dispatch Locations. Then these advanced, heavy lift drones would transport it to another ACD dispatch Location. From there another ACD messenger will make the final delivery using traditional means.
  • Automated Delivery Vehicles (ADV) or Self Driving vehicles, are another solution we are looking at. This would be a solution to allow the ACD messenger to travel less. Packages could be retrieved by ACD Messengers and placed in an ADV. The ADV would travel to the delivery location with a local ACD Messenger waiting to deliver it to the client. As a cost savings the client could bring it to the ADV and retrieve it upon its arrival.
